FAQ
What is different about Medinah?
Interns are treated like Assistants. We expect full participation in management decisions. The Interns will be instrumental in preparing Course 3 for the BMW Championship in 2019.
How much will I work?
Interns will work on average between 45-50 hours per week. Days off, unless specifically requested ahead of time to direct supervisor, will be determined by the course superintendent. It should also be understood that schedules can change at any time due to unpredictable weather events, changes in club events, or any other insinuating circumstances. Interns should also remain flexible in regards to the daily and monthly schedule, essentially meaning they should be ready and available when called upon to work. In other words, interns should have the mind set of "on-call" status.
Where will I live?
Housing provided will be at the nearby Deer Glen Apartments in Bloomingdale, IL located approximately 2 miles from the club.
You will also be very close to downtown Chicago to enjoy all that this all-american city offers.
Should I bring anything?
Linens and comforter for a twin bed, television/stereo, laundry baskets (coin laundry in apartment complex), clothing hangers, sunscreen, bug spray, waterproof boots, rain suit, golf clubs and shoes, acceptable khaki shorts/pants for work

A high priority is our team concept to managing. We pride ourselves that our entire staff is inter- changeable across all 3 courses. You may move from course to course at any time. This approach keeps our team well prepared for anything. Learn about our managers below.
Mitch Linnerud - Course 1 & 2 Assistant
I got my start at Maple Bluff Country Club when I was in high school. Recently, I was an intern at National Golf Links of America. I started at Medinah in January 2019. The culture at Medinah is like no other and I am glad to be apart of it.
