This past summer I got the opportunity to work on the maintenance crew at SPGC. I began studying turfgrass management at Clemson University this past year so I was very excited to start my experience with the best! Superintendent Pat Ryan and his crew took me in as one of their own and put me to work immediately. Over the course of the summer, I got hands on experience and advice that was invaluable to someone trying to learn the craft. They were all very patient with me in the beginning and made it a point to teach me everything I needed to know so that going back to school in the fall, I felt like I was way ahead of the curve.
