DESCRIPTION
We will work with all students and all skill levels to create a program that benefits the student and the club. We will push you outside your comfort zone to reach your full potential. By end of summer each student will leave with a new sense of pride and confidence in their abilities.
You will also get an opportunity to volunteer at local PGA Tour stop!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Staff should expect to be involved in the learning and implementation of all key aspects of turf management. You will run crews, fertilize, make job boards, cultural practices, moisture practices, irrigation work, and more.

Compensation
$17-20/HR, 50 HOURS PER WEEK, 1 DAY OFF

Sands Point is considered part of the New York Metropolitan area. You'll be less than an hour from Manhattan by train, and many interns take advantage of that on their free time or when relatives visit. There are far too many things to mention about New York City here, it is a major benefit of working at Sands Point.
There are ocean beaches on both North and South shores of Long Island, including the well-known Jones Beach which has many summer events.
